About

Leonore Brunner (b. 1998) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from HEAD Geneva (2019) and a Master’s degree in Museology from the University of Neuchâtel (2024). A pianist since the age of eight, her artistic practice explores the role of sound in shaping visual space.  She explores listening as a critical act, detached from the omnipresence of images, to question our relationship with narrative. Through her sound-based works, she challenges traditional modes of narrative reception, inviting us to reconsider listening as a space for interpretation and dialogue.

By playing with the tensions between sound and imagination, her work highlights how sonic narratives can deconstruct, reshape, and transform our perception of storytelling Working both independently and collaboratively, she investigates notions of texture, harmony, repetition, and noise, examining their impact on the perception of space and time.
